Why should I use dayzz sleep app?
Better sleep is just a step away. dayzz' sleep app will give you the support you need to get more and more sleep with your CPAP, step by step, so you wake up refreshed and energized. As people with sleep apnea often experience sleeplessness, you’ll enjoy valuable tools and techniques to help you drift off to sleep and stay asleep.
Is dayzz science backed?
Yes. dayzz is science based and our sleep assessment is clinically validated. We use scientific methods to help you overcome sleepless nights and get the sleep you’ve always dreamt of. Dayzz’ science team is led by clinical psychologist and world-leading sleep expert, Dr. Mairav Cohen-Zion.
Will anyone have access to my personal sleep data?
Your information is safe with us. The data you share with us will be protected under strict privacy and security standards, and only be used to provide you with a personal sleep assessment and a customized sleep training plan. We will not share your data with anyone else, except for the ResMed team, based on your informed consent only.
Is the dayzz app free?
For access to the dayzz app, you will be required to pay a one-off payment of $39NZD.
How do I register the dayzz app?
Once you get your CPAP order, you’ll find registration instructions including a personal access code to register the app together with your CPAP box.
How can I get support?
If you experience any issues or just want to ask a question, simply start a chat by clicking the quick access button on the app’s home screen.
What is a sleep assessment by dayzz?
Your journey to better sleep kicks off with answering dayzz’ sleep questionnaire. We get to know your lifestyle and sleep habits, and tailor the right sleep plan for you. After completing your sleep assessment, you’ll get a personal sleep report to discover the status of your sleep.
Why should I allow permissions?
We strongly suggest allowing notifications so you get the most of the app. As our sleep is affected by our days and nights, we need to get access to your location, motion and fitness activity in order to provide you with the most personal experience. For example, by accessing your phone's camera, microphone and location we’re able to test your bedroom's light and noise intensity levels to optimize your sleep space.
Should I fill in my sleep tracker every day?
Yes. The more we know about your nights, the better we can adjust our recommendations to fit your specific needs. Take just one minute a day to fill in your sleep tracker and believe the effort will be rewarded with better sleep!
Can I sync dayzz with my wearable device?
Yes. dayzz can be easily connected to Fitbit or Garmin wearable activity trackers. After you sync your wearable with dayzz, your sleep data will be automatically pulled from your device. Soon, you’ll be able to connect your Apple watch too!
Can I use dayzz if I don’t have a wearable device?
Sure, everyone can use and enjoy the dayzz sleep app. You can easily fill out your manual sleep tracker to keep track of your sleep. It only takes a moment to complete!
What should I do if I have trouble connecting my wearable device?
If you experience difficulties connecting your wearable, go to Settings, turn off and on the toggle button of your Fitbit or Garmin, then restart the app. If you still experience difficulties you can always reach out for chat support by clicking the quick access button.
Can I track my sleep progress?
Yes. ‘My Sleep’ is your personal status page which provides you with your daily and weekly sleep analysis, You can easily track your progress by comparing your sleep patterns to the previous day or week.
What is my sleep score?
Each day you’ll get a personal score for your previous night’s sleep, which is based on your subjective feeling and sleep data. Trust us, there’s nothing like improving your score!
How can dayzz help me deal with my sleeplessness?
We will provide you with a personal sleep schedule to help you get the maximum sleep time when you are in bed (based on a method called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - CBT). Also, we will help you limit your caffeine consumption and napping times and offer relaxation sessions for better sleep.
How can dayzz help me get used to my CPAP?
We will help you track your CPAP usage during night as well as your sleepiness during the day, and see the results of your efforts in real time. You can tell us about your emotions and thoughts of your CPAP experience and we will offer our feedback and recommendations.
